Barbra was still conflicted over her feelings for Oliver and Joey, and Jay and Aaron’s advice did little to help her dilemma. So, she went to the person she should have went to in the first place. Her big sister, Caroline. For as long as she could remember, Caroline had been there for her. When Jay and Aaron turned against her, Caroline was there to be at her side. She didn’t know why she went to those two jackasses before she went to her. Sighing as she stood up from her spot on her bed, she walked over to her closet and opened it, pulling out a little bag filled with nail polishes, lipstick tubes, eyeliner pencils, brushes and other miscellaneous items and made her way to Caroline’s room.
Whenever Barbra had a problem, a big problem, she would go to Caroline and pull out the big guns, which usually consisted of her little bag of makeover items. She ran a hand through her hair and walked down the long hallway towards her sister’s room, pausing when she reached the door. She took a deep breath and raised her fist, knocking quickly two times before opening the door and poking her head inside. “Hey.. Can I come in?” She asked, taking a small step inside. She put on a sad smile and held up the bag. “I brought our secret stash.” She laughed quietly.
Caroline mostly kept to herself at home; whether she was too busy with homework or Glee stuff, or crazy things were going on outside her bedroom door, she felt happiest alone in her room. Still, she easily missed her family, especially during times of hectic happenings and schedules. Barbra’s messages gave her the perfect excuse to take a break from studying and get caught up on her little sister’s life. She finished up her math homework while waiting for the tell-tale knock at the door, wondering and worrying what was up in Barbra world.
Caroline smiled when she saw Barbra’s peace offering. They’d been doing make-overs since they were little kids, and had never stopped, especially in times of intense girl talk-whether it be over the most serious or mundane issue. “Of course.” Caroline answered with a grin, patting the spot next to her on her bed. “Oh my God, it’s been forever since we’ve done this.” She opened her dresser drawer and grabbed a bag of candy she’d been stashing for a few weeks, and spread it out over the bed, getting down to business. “Hand me to tweezers. What’s up?”
Private: I’m in my room, under the blanket fort.
Private: What’s the matter, Sis? Wanna have a chat?
